ITS are registered by the British Institute of Non Destructive Testing (BINDT) to perform airtightness testing on new dwellings (Registered Tester No. 14). |
ITS airtightness tests meet the requirements of the Building Regulations Approved Document L1A 2006, and are carried out to BINDT accredited standards in accordance with ATTMA TS1 "Measuring Air Permeability of Building Envelopes". |
To start the process, all we require is a set of drawings from which to calculate the building envelope, confirmation of the design air permeability rate and whether or not accredited construction details have been used. |
